I'm pleased to announce that from April 3rd we will have 3.4GHz amateur frequency allocation available on a secondary basis. The actual frequency range: 3400-3401 MHz Maximum allowed TX power: 20dBW at antenna elevations below 10 degrees and 30dBW at elevations above 10 degrees (same as for our 13cm allocation). This means that I should start planning my 3.4 GHz setup now. I think the main challenge for me is to find a suitable PA to hear some echoes with my 4.5 m dish. Perhaps somebody has something suitable available for reasonable price?
