Hello Zdenek OK1DFC
The A-team dismantled this morning the PJ2/PE1L station.
Within one hour the Antenna system was down and finally we could use our dreamhouse (Dushi Korsou http://www.vakantiewoningenincuracao.nl/Villa-Dushi-Korsou.html) where it was mentioned for, relaxing at the pool. While swimming around we discussed the pro and cons of the expedition and we made a list of it. Even new trips to exciting places where discussed.
Total results for the PJ2 trip are 245 inits in 41 countries on 144MHz.
We made tropo qso with PJ4X
Meteorscatter with WP4G (beside a EME qso)
A CW qso with OZ1HNE on 144 MHz
A CW qso with DL9KR on 432 MHz
12 QSOs on 432MHz via EME
PJ4X will be still active at 144MHz till the end of April and the results will be published then
All sponsors for PJ2 expedition will be mentioned on the website www.emelogger.com/curacao?page=sponsor and tomorrow our maid will pick blindfolded 10 callsigns out a bowl for the shorthand sunglasses.
All stations who do send extra money with QSL card will be mentioned on this page as well (10$ or more)
All QSL wil go via PE1L and we kindly ask you to keep in mind that if you want QSL from both countries that you include enough to cover the costs.
A order for QSL cards will go out soon, based on earlier experience with the printer, this can take some time (C56EME cards where lost in mail and are resend now)
You can see your QST status on the log page at www.emelogger.com/curacao and www.emelogger.com/bonaire
If you do a logsearch you can see if you are in the log, if your card is received and if our card is send to you.
If you have a non confirmed QSO with PE1L, PE1LWT or PA3FPQ please send your card with the card for the expedition.
Today the European team members Jurgen PE1LWT, Rene PE1L and Johan PA3FPQ traveled to Curacao while Peter PJ4NX did stay on Bonaire. With a little delay the plane landed on Curacao and all luggage came through the customs and all seems to be in good condition. (no time to check all) When arrived at the house we could see the results of the heavy rain lately here in Curacao. Lot of water around the house so we decided to put on our swimsuit for a little dip, pse notice we did not see the see or beach on Bonaire because the hard on the antenna system. Now the moonrise is later on the day we have some spare time to spent on pleasure. The rented cottage is not exactly what we had in mind when we booked it a few months ago but we will handle it. i.e. the ice-cream picture on the menu card is not the same as the one being served. Tomorrow (April 13th) we will starting to build up the station. All we can say is that we need al least 10 degrees on moonset and moonrise. We do our best to be qrv as soon as possible Call will be PJ2/PE1L, locator FK52vc
And freq is planned to be 144124 (keep an eye on N0UK logger and www.livecq144.com for last minute freq change because birdie's)
Our website is http://www.emelogger.com/curacao, we will update the log every day after moonset and we try to put some photos and video's but the internet connection is expensive. In the mean time Peter PJ4NX did operate PJ4X and made another 17 qso´s for a total of 316 inits.
As time permits peter will be qrv on the next days as well.
